MIXING MIXERS

Introduction

The dry concrete batching plant, also known as a transit concrete plant, weighs sand, gravel, and cement in weighing chambers using digital or manual scales. All ingredients are transferred into a chute and then directed to the mixer truck. Meanwhile, the water is either weighed or volumetrically measured and added to the mixer truck through the same loading chute. During transportation to the construction site, these materials are mixed in the mixer truck for 70 to 100 rotations.

Advantages of a Mixing Mixer

  • The mixer can blend heavy, sticky, or abrasive materials (concrete, screed, mortar, plaster, adhesive, leveling compound, paint, floor coatings, jointing material, epoxy resin...)
  • The mixing arms of the mixer can be changed depending on the type of mixture.
  • The mixing blades can be replaced from rubber blades to steel blades to prevent premature wear of the gears and drum.
